  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in direct Sales, telephonic sales, in-house sales, marketing, and business analyst positions.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive – Sales Executive to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently convert incoming project requirements while maintaining a high conversion rate. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing client communication and handling patent or IP-related projects throughout their complete life cycle. The role also involves outbound sales activities, setting appointments, conducting initial interactions with inventors, and gathering relevant information. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional telephonic communication and selling skills, along with relevant sales experience and a background in graduate or engineering education.

Responsibilities:

Convert incoming project requirements: Efficiently convert incoming inquiries on call and emails (daily 10 to 15) into projects by providing the highest possible value to prospects. Maintain a high conversion rate by understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and providing suitable solutions. Build strong relationships with potential clients and do follow-ups to enhance conversion opportunities.

Manage client communication for patent or IP projects: Communicate with clients regarding existing patent or IP-related projects. Request relevant information from clients to proceed with the project effectively.
Inform clients about the steps involved in the project and provide guidance throughout the entire life cycle.

Conduct outbound sales activities: Proactively engage in outbound sales efforts by making calls and visiting companies, firms, and educational institutions. Identify potential clients who may require patent projects and present our services to them. Articulate the benefits of working with our firm and address any queries or objections effectively. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

Set appointments, calls and gather relevant information: Schedule appointments with inventors to gather essential information about their inventions. Conduct initial interactions to understand the scope of the invention and its patentability. Collect accurate and detailed information that will aid in the start of patent projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. (not compulsory)
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, telephonic sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the IPR or related professional services sector.
  • Graduate or engineering degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and high conversion rates.
  • Exceptional telephonic communication and selling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to understand client needs and propose tailored solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to persuade, influence, and build rapport over the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Familiarity with patent or IP-related projects is a plus.

Desired Skills:

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Keen attention to detail and a goal-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of the IPR industry and its services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary Range:

A competitive salary package reflective of your experience and qualifications, generally within the range of INR 3,00,000 to INR 6,00,000 per annum, plus performance-based incentives.
