Role Summary

The Telecaller / Business Development Executive will be responsible for proactively calling prospective clients, primarily industrial business owners, product developers, R&D heads, and decision-makers, to:

  • Generate qualified leads
  • Book appointments for sales discussions (Later would be handled by IPR experts )
  • Convert incoming enquiries into consultations
  • Sell firm’s IPR/Patent services over the phone efficiently
  • Explain relevant IPR services like Patent, trademark, copyright and designs.
  • Maintain pipeline and conversion targets

The role requires excellent communication skills, strong persuasion abilities, and the discipline to meet daily calling and conversion KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

📞 Outbound Calling & Lead Engagement

  • Perform daily outbound calls to a provided list of industrial, corporate, and startup decision-makers (MIDC clusters, manufacturing units, R&D firms, etc.).
  • Use various channels for calling (CRM, VOIP, mobile, cloud dialers).
  • Introduce the firm’s IP and patent services clearly, succinctly, and persuasively.

📈 Lead Qualification & Appointment Setting

  • Understand client needs quickly through structured qualification questions.
  • Schedule qualified sales calls with senior consultants or partners.
  • Update CRM with accurate lead status and call notes after every interaction.

💼 Sales & Conversion

  • Convert inbound and outbound calls into booked appointments.
  • Upsell where appropriate for relevant IPR services like Patent trademark copyright and designs.
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly conversion rate targets.

🧾 Reporting & Follow-Up

  • Maintain accurate call logs and lead status.
  • Provide daily updates to Sales Lead/Manager.
  • Follow up on scheduled consultations to ensure attendance and conversion.

🤝 Client Relationship Development

  • Build rapport and trust through professional conversations.
  • Handle objections calmly and guide the prospect toward consultation.
  • Escalate sensitive queries to senior team members appropriately.

🎯 Performance Metrics

  • Daily call volume target (e.g., ≥ 60–80 calls/day)
  • Weekly qualified leads
  • Appointment booking rate (e.g., ≥ 15–25%)
  • Conversion from appointment to clients
  • CRM data quality and follow-up accuracy

Who Should Apply

Essential Skills

  • Strong verbal communication (English + Hindi; Marathi preferred)
  • Experience in B2B calling, telesales, or appointment setting
  • Familiarity with sales pipelines and CRM tools
  • Ability to ask probing questions and qualify leads
  • Persistent, resilient, and coachable

Desirable but Not Mandatory

  • Previous experience selling professional, technical, consulting, or legal services
  • Exposure to IP, R&D, engineering, technology, or legal domains
  • Experience using cloud telephony or dialers

💰 Compensation & Incentives

Flexible Options:
📌 Freelancer/Part-Time Model

  • Base per-hour or fixed monthly retainer
  • Plus performance incentives per qualified lead / appointment / conversion

📌 Full-Time Model

  • Monthly salary from 25000 per month to 60,000 per month
  • Commission on qualified bookings and conversions
  • Additional bonuses for over-achievement
